These Terms and Conditions explain how Forefada works, how bookings and payments are handled, and how platform fees may apply. By using the Forefada website, customer app, provider app, or any related service, you agree to these terms.

1. About Forefada

Forefada is a marketplace platform that connects customers with independent service providers. Forefada may help with discovery, booking, payments, notifications, support, and dispute review, but the provider is responsible for delivering the service accepted through the platform.

2. Accounts and accurate information

You agree to provide accurate account, contact, booking, address, payment, and provider information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details secure. Forefada may suspend or restrict accounts that provide false information, misuse the platform, create safety risks, or violate these terms.

3. Bookings and service delivery

Customers are responsible for reviewing the service details, price, location, time, provider information, and any requirements before confirming a booking. Providers are responsible for accepting only work they can perform safely, professionally, and within the agreed scope.

If the job scope changes after booking, the provider may request extra charges or material charges through the platform where available. Customers should review and approve any extra charge before payment.

4. Clear explanation of Forefada fees

Forefada may charge or deduct platform fees to operate the marketplace, process transactions, provide support, improve safety, and maintain the website and apps. The exact amount depends on the fee settings active at the time of the transaction and the type of payment being made.

  • Service price: This is the listed labour or service amount for the booking. It may be set by Forefada, the provider, or the service configuration.
  • Marketplace fee: Forefada may add a customer-facing marketplace fee to eligible booking payments. This fee is shown in the payment or booking breakdown before confirmation where applicable.
  • Success fee: Forefada may deduct a success fee from the provider's earning when a paid booking, job request, or eligible service payment is completed. This affects the provider's net payout, not the service quality owed to the customer.
  • Material markup or extra-charge fee: If materials, parts, or approved extra charges are paid through Forefada, a platform markup or fee may apply. The customer should see the payable amount before paying, and the provider should see the net earning in the payout or wallet records.
  • Tip platform fee: If tipping is enabled, Forefada may deduct a platform fee from tips before the provider receives the net tip amount. Where shown, the app or payment screen controls the final tip breakdown.
  • Taxes and government charges: Taxes, levies, or statutory charges may be added where required by law or platform configuration.
  • Payment processor and bank charges: Third-party payment gateways, card networks, mobile money providers, or banks may charge processing, transfer, reversal, or withdrawal fees. These charges may be deducted from the payment, payout, or refund where applicable.

The checkout screen, booking detail, payment receipt, wallet history, or payout record is the source of truth for the final amount charged or paid out for a specific transaction. If a fee percentage changes later, it does not automatically change a completed transaction that already has a recorded fee breakdown.

5. Advance payments, balances, and extra charges

Some services may require an advance payment before work begins. The remaining balance, if any, may be due according to the booking details or the approved final charge. Extra charges, material costs, or follow-up payments should be made only through approved Forefada payment flows where available.

6. Provider payouts and wallet records

Provider earnings may be reduced by applicable success fees, material or extra-charge fees, tip platform fees, refunds, reversals, taxes, penalties, payment processor charges, or bank charges. Wallet history and payout records are provided to help providers understand gross payments, platform fees, and net earnings.

7. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

Refund eligibility depends on the booking status, payment status, cancellation timing, work already performed, materials already purchased, provider acceptance, and Forefada's review of the case. Payment processor charges, bank charges, completed work, consumed materials, and some platform fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or approved by Forefada.

If there is a dispute, Forefada may review booking records, messages, payment records, provider evidence, customer evidence, and platform activity before deciding whether to approve a refund, partial refund, payout adjustment, or other resolution.

8. Online-only actions

Payments, booking acceptance or rejection, booking status updates, withdrawals, refunds, tips, provider availability updates, and other financial or operational actions require an active connection and must be confirmed by Forefada's servers. Offline screens may show saved information, but offline information may be stale and does not complete a transaction.

9. User responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the platform, avoid platform fees, bypass Forefada payment flows for platform bookings, submit fraudulent requests, abuse promotions, harass other users, upload unlawful content, or interfere with platform security. Forefada may investigate suspicious activity and may restrict access, reverse credits, cancel bookings, or take other reasonable action.

10. Provider responsibilities

Providers must deliver services with reasonable skill, care, punctuality, honesty, and safety. Providers are responsible for licenses, permits, tools, materials, taxes, insurance, and compliance obligations that apply to their work unless Forefada expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

11. Third-party services

Forefada may use third-party services for payments, notifications, maps, identity checks, hosting, analytics, support, or communications. These services may have their own terms and fees. Forefada is not responsible for outages, delays, declines, or charges caused by third-party providers outside Forefada's reasonable control.

12. Changes to these terms and fees

Forefada may update these terms, platform fees, payment rules, payout rules, or service policies from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the website or made available through the app. Continued use of Forefada after an update means you accept the updated terms.
